APPKI Overview

The Association of Pakistani Physicians of Kentucky and Indiana was established in the year 2000. The basic aim of APPKI was to enhance the image of American Physicians of Pakistani descent and to promote communication between themselves and the local professional community.

The other important goal was to help nourish and promote long lasting friendly relationship between Pakistan and the United States.

APPKI has introduced Pakistani culture to its American friends by organizing many cultural events including Eid Day Parties, Pakistan Day Celebrations, Charity Dinner and other cultural events that hosted several famous Pakistani celebrities and artists.

Working with its fourth cabinet APPKI faces several challenges in the turbulent international politics, but it maintains its initial charter of expanding Pakistan’s positive image among all Americans including Americans of Pakistani descent.
